AFRO-NETS> An Inventory of African Health Research Networks

An Inventory of African Health Research Networks
------------------------------------------------

As a follow up to Dr. Neufeld's request on AFRO-NETS (dated 17 Jan.
2001) regarding African health research networks, please find attached
a preliminary listing of inter-country health research networks.

This is the first listing of a three-months projects and it is the best
we could do with the information we have available. We would appreciate
if you could circulate this listing on AFRO-NETS to stimulate more re-
sponses and give contact persons an opportunity to rectify wrong infor-
mation. There will be several versions as we get more input from other
networks and we hope to have a fairly adequate version by end of April
2001. The final version will be distributed to participating networks
with the purpose of information sharing and coalition-building.

Thank you for your assistance,

Prof. Mutuma Mugambi
