Coverage and build-up to Abuja OAU Summit on AIDS/TB

Journalists Against AIDS (JAAIDS) Nigeria, in cooperation with the
Summit Secretariat, has begun a build-up to the African Summit on
HIV/AIDS, Tuberculosis and other Infectious Diseases organised by the
Organisation of African Unity (OAU) and hosted by the Federal Govern-
ment of Nigeria.
Beginning today till Monday 23 April, we will send out on the Nige-
ria-AIDS forum <http://www.yahoogroups.com/group/nigeria-aids> and
other health-related lists, background information about the confer-
ence, its objectives, issues to be discussed and expected outcomes
etc.
For the duration of the conference (Tuesday 24 April to Friday 27
April), JAAIDS, in collaboration with the Economic Commission for Af-
rica (ECA) will be posting daily summaries of the conference proceed-
ings.
