Do you develop/design/produce health communication materials?
-------------------------------------------------------------

Dear colleagues:

Do you develop/design/produce/collect, or work in any way with health
communication materials? As specialists in the development of health
communication materials, we invite you to join THE HEALTH COMMUNI-
CATION MATERIALS NETWORK (HCMN). This is a free service, open to pro-
fessionals worldwide.

The Health Communication Materials Network was established to provide
a forum for specialists worldwide to share their materials and ex-
periences/lessons learned, find out what their colleagues around the
world are doing in health communication materials development, and to
provide or receive suggestions and help.

Membership offers:
1) A weekly e-mail listing the newest materials that have been pro-
duced, with information provided by members of the network.
2) A web site highlighting the latest project materials developed by
   you and your colleagues.
3) A Listserv where you can post questions and raise issues to dis-
cuss via e-mail with health communication professionals around the
   world.
4) A newsletter highlighting materials and projects of your col-
   leagues.

The staff of the Media/Materials Clearinghouse, a collection of over
40,000 samples of health communication materials produced worldwide,
part of the Johns Hopkins Population Information Program in Balti-
more, Maryland, has worked to establish HCMN, which we hope will be a
unique resource for you and your colleagues. Please forward or share
this e-mail with colleagues who are involved in materials development
as well.

Membership in the network is free, we only ask that you generously
share your materials and experiences with others.

To join, send an e-mail to
Susan Leibtag <sleibtag@jhuccp.org>, Coordinator of the Network, and
describe why you want to join. Please also provide your:

We look forward to hearing from you! If you have any questions, com-
ments or suggestions, we want to hear them. This is a cooperative ef-
fort that will get better and better with everyone's input.

Best regards,
