German HIV Peer Review Group Publications

The German HIV Peer Review Group (PRG) is an initiative of HIV experts working in German and international development cooperation. It aims to collaboratively manage knowledge about good practice and lessons learnt in German contributions to responses to HIV in developing countries.

Based on a set of jointly defined criteria for 'good practice' or 'promising practice', the German HIV Peer Review Group reviews approaches that were developed in German-supported HIV programmes. For each submission, the PRG Secretariat appoints two internationally renown experts in the particular field of the submission as independent peer reviewers. Approaches that are found to meet the group's criteria are documented, published and widely disseminated as part of the German HIV Practice Collection. Each publication is available as short version (4 pages) and as long version (25-40 pages) and besides English most of them are available in several languages.

PRG membership is open to HIV experts and development cooperation planners and practitioners with an interest in German contributions to the global response to HIV. For more information, contact the Secretary of the Peer Review Group at mailto:aidsprg@gtz.de
