Mental Health Care in Developing Countries
------------------------------------------

Dear all,

Greetings from Nepal!

I have been enjoying the posts of this list quietly till now but I
thought that I must register my presence and also seek your expert
opinion on the area of our work, mental health care in a developing
country. To be precise, we have been thinking/exploring about the al-
ternate and other complementary approaches in expansion of mental
health care. In this two or three things are being thought of, the use
of rapidly expanding information technology, strengthening and expan-
sion of existing traditional healing system of developing countries, or
use of activist/campaign approaches for this.

Although in this country we have been using/working with these in one
or another, however we have been thinking to expand these.

I would be interested to know your views or experiences on this.

Looking forward to hearing from you.
Thanks in advance.

Sincerely,

Mahendra Nepal
