Scientists for Health and Research for Development (2)

Essentially SHARED (Scientists for Health and Research for Development) is
initially a database-type action with a lot of potential applications. It
aims at knowing "what everybody is doing and where" in the field of Health
with strong focus on Southern problems.
At a recent meeting in Maputo/Mozambique with participants from Health
Systems Research Units of 15 countries of the Eastern and Southern Africa
Region the installation of a regional database for Health Research and
Development has been proposed. Since the format and contents have not yet
been decided it would be of utmost interest to us to co-operate with SHARE
in setting up such a database to make it relevant, user friendly and
harmonise it with your and other information resources.
