We never thought it would be possible, but we may be able to cross
over the 300 lecture barrier before the end of the year. This would
be a wonderful achievement that we all have done. We would very much
appreciate if you could send us a lecture or two before the end of
the year.
Happy Holidays
We have been so pleased as to what you and the other Supercourse fac-
ulty have constructed. We plan to send each of you a CD with the
whole Supercourse on it. Because of the small size of the Super-
course, you can put the whole course on your PC. The difficulty is
that we only have "snail mail" addresses on about 25% of you. There-
fore, please e-mail your name and postal address. Once we receive
these, we will send you a CD. Please send a return note to this ad-
dress.
The CDs represents an enormous amount of work by you, and our whole
faculty around the world. We want it disseminated as widely as possi-
ble, especially to students. Therefore we would request that you give
a copy of this to the students in your department so we can provide
prevention knowledge to the next generation. Also, we would appreci-
ate if you distribute this to your friends and/or faculty members in
your department to your library, and anyone else who might be inter-
ested in prevention, global health and the Internet. Please copy the
CD as many times as you would like. The more people who have the Su-
percourse on their PCs and lap top computers the better.
As with the nature of the Supercourse, we do not permit the selling
of the CD, as it is for educational purposes.
We hope that you will receive our CD present by the end of the year.
It is our present to you. We will develop a system so that on the Su-
percourse home page you will be able to click to download the latest
version of the lectures.
If there are any of the authors of lectures who prefer to not have
their lectures sent out on a CD, please let us know.
Thank you all again for your efforts. You soon will be major dis-
tributors of your Supercourse/prevention in your University and coun-
try.
