Telecom & IT development in developing countries/Ethiopia
---------------------------------------------------------

Source: AFRIK-IT (by "Michael M.S. Damena" <damenam@seas.gwu.edu>)

Greetings/Selam,

This is a broadcast message and some of you may receive it more than
once.. if that is the case, Please pardon me..

The following URL- http://www.seas.gwu.edu/student/damenam/research.html
contains a publication for managing the development of
Telecommunications and Information Technology in developing countries.
This is a result of a research that I have conducted for more that two
years with particular concentration on Ethiopia, and the publication is
released in the form of a graduation thesis.

The objective of the research and the subsequent proposal contained in
this publication is to be more than an academic exercise. I have had the
idea of such a study while working in the industry, well before
returning to grad school. For the right audience, my hope is to provide
a starting point for a management framework (i.e a realistic master
plan) for a comprehensive national/regional telecom and IT development
initiative in developing countries.

Permission hereby is granted to you to make use of the information
contained in this publication in a CONSTRUCTIVE manner provided that the
copyright conditions are respected.

regards,
Michael.
