Topics:

- Historical aspects of rural practitioners
- Models of rural and general practice
- Developing a model of rural practice
- Training and support needs for rural practice
- Policy recommendations

Plenary sessions will deal with the above topics followed by
parallel sessions to discuss the themes in more detail.

Opportunity will be provided for the presentation of free
papers and posters.

Pre- and Post-Congress Field Excursions will take place within
the Kwa Zulu Natal area and local hospitals and clinics will be
visited.
