---------------------------------------------------------
Recent discussions on ARVs have focused on patents, prices
and politics. Here are some pointers for clinical guidelines from the
developing world:
Brazilian ARV guidelines (english):

The 1999 Adult and paediatric ARV guidelines and a 2000 TB/HIV
guideline are downloadable as HTML files.
The 2000 Adult guidelines are available (Word file) in portuguese at:

An overview of the Brazilian achievements is at:
http://www.aids.gov.br/politica/exp_univ_therapy.htm
and if you have Internet Explorer, you can see a slideshow at:
http://www.aids.gov.br/politica/slide.htm
(unfortunately it doesn't work with Netscape)
Aid for AIDS is a South African private sector initiative to provide
ARVs to people insured with a participating Medical Aid Scheme.
