E-drug: Codeine Linctus ----------------------- Dear Friends, Codeine Phosphate 30mg tablet is a controled drug for which import authorization as well as special narcotic prescription peper is required for its use in Eritrea. However, codeine linctus containing codeine phosphate 15mg/5ml is not a controlled drug. In this respect, I would like to know:- 1. The abuse potential of the linctus if taken in quantities greater than the normal dose for longer period of time. 2. Its regulatory control in other countries 3.
