E-DRUG: donations guidelines (cont)
-----------------------------------

Dear E-druggers:

With regard to endorsers of the WHO guidelines, members may be interested
to know that the Partnership for Quality Medical Donations endorsed the
guidelines last April, as revised following a meeting of the Interagency
group on March 5. The revision, though not yet published, is essentially
the same as the draft you now have, although certain provisions are
clarified or amplified.

Members of the Partnership are relief agencies and pharmaceutical firms:
AmeriCares, Catholic Medical Mission Board, Interchurch Medical Assistance,
International AID, MAP International, Project HOPE; Johnson & Johnson,
Lilly, Pfizer, Merck, SmithKline Beecham and Wyeth-Ayerst.
