In the first posting on the above subject yesterday, I mentioned
that phenolphthalein-containing laxatives include Correctol. The
source of this information was Martindale. According to today's
Washington Post (Aug 30, 1997) Schering-Plough removed
phenolphthalein from Correctol in January 1996. Please make a
note of this. Thanks.
                                                             
It would be interesting to know if Correctol is available in
countries other than the U.S. and if this brand name contains
