E-DRUG: Free medline (4)

A big problem with the MEDLINE access at this and other sites  
is the limitations of the search engine. For example, at the  
Healthgate site, a search on movement disorders associated  
with SSRIs and sertraline in particular produced over 8000  
references. A similar search at the NLM site produced 22.

The search engine at the NLM is much more sophisticated,  
and provides the ability to follow threads attached to articles  
of particular interest. The others do not.

The NLM site allows one to do an \*effective\* Boolean search.  
The other sites do not. The search engine available there rivals  
that of Ovid, which I consider the preeminent means of accessing  
the NLM database.

Free does not equate with useful.
