Medecins Sans Fronteres/Doctors Without Borders (MSF) is an international

delivers emergency healthcare, responds to epidemics and advocates for
increased access to care and treatment.

MSF also works to define unmet needs and stimulate R&D to develop new

that will be based in our Johannesburg office and work closely with members

the international Access to Essential Medicines Campaign.

We are looking for someone with a medical or paramedical background that
has knowledge and/or experience working in one or more of the following
areas: HIV/AIDS, TB, and paediatrics/vaccines.

The Access & Innovation Officer will have two primary functions: 1)
identify areas of potential MSF collaboration with the South African
research community, and 2) fight for access to new diagnostics, vaccines
and drug therapies in South Africa by working with local collaborators and
linking to people working on Access Issues internationally.

To apply, please submit a CV and a letter of motivation explaining, why you
are interested in this job, what experience you have had that is pertinent,
and finally how you would approach the key objectives of this job.
Applications should be sent to recruitment@joburg.msf.org before or on the
revised closing deadline 21 October 2009.

The full job description for this position is available at: www.msf.org.za
