E-drug: NSAID use --------------------------------------------- Dear friends As independent drug information centre, Projekt Farmaka, we are involved in a federal campaign on the rational use of NSAID. As there is a press conference next week for the start of this campaign, some figures will be presented on national patterns of NSAID use and frequency of side-effects, especially in aged people. We are looking for some comparative data in other European countries. Is some-one aware of recent publications in this countries on NSAID use in general or on specific NSAIDs, expressed in number of packages/year or in DDD, in the general population or in the elderly?
