E-DRUG: off-label use of mussels and free speech (cont) ------------------------------------------------------- Dear Colleagues. This is OLD stuff; about 15 years ago this was big news, and some good controlled trials were performed showing that the effect was equal to placebo. So far as I remember even one in the NZ J Med - you can look it up in Medline. Strange that it has made a come-back! As a foreign protein it cannot be healthy. I will try to dig up the old data, but it might be too late. The Australian drug authorities certainly know more about it.
