Re: The status of chlordiazepoxide (Librium)

The above product is manufactured by Roche. They have informed our  
department of health that the product has been discontinued  
internationally purely on economic grounds. It is still in use in  
South Africa, and they have applied to have it on tender. Can anyone  
confirm that there is no other reason for its discontinuation?

Assistance in this regard will be gladly appreciated.
