Dear E-druggers,

I have been asked to give a paper on antibiotic use. It is a subject I
was familiar with a few years ago. I need to update myself with some
current perspectives on trends, problems and possible solutions.

Therefore, I would like to request some information:

1. Do you know of any RECENT good reviews or overviews of the problem of
over-prescribing in developing and developed countries?

2. Do you know of any examples, case studies or anecdotes from your own
country that illustrate the problem?

3. Do you know of any successful initiatives that have helped to reduce
over-prescribing AND/OR suggestions for policy initiatives at local,
national and international levels that would help?

Thank you

David Gilbert
