E-DRUG: Suggestions required for survey  
------------------------------------------

Dear associates

We are in the process of developing a survey to evaluate below mentioned issues.

Input for developing data collection tools to conduct this survey are needed.

I request all associates on e-drug to provide us with inputs/suggestions for developing such a data collection tool that can address mentioned issues.

It will be your real contribution for the betterment of health care system.

Pharmacists can exert a profound influence on the patients' quality of life  
by instituting different clinical interventions. these interventions are to  
be shared with other healthcare professionals and to be utilized to improve  
quality of care.

The role, importance and function health care pharmacists in most of  
developing and under developed countries have not been documented so far.  
the practice of pharmacy in developing and under developed countries is not  
shielded, burdening the health care sector.

Pharmacy education and practice is undergoing a dramatic change with the  
recent surge in the number of pharmacy institutions and with t growth of  
pharmaceutical industry in these countries.

In this background, it is important to assess pharmacists' level of  
knowledge and perception about their role in the health care  
system. Inaddition, their orientation and know-how essential drugs list  
(EDL), Rational use of drugs (RUD), and national drug policies (NDPs) are also  
needs to be evaluated.
