A very humble and quiet question (4)

Of humble questions and London School US$ 40 million Grant
In response to "A very humble and quiet question" I think that the
item below about the Gates Foundation donation indicates that there
is a direct relationship between science (including medicine) and
politics.
I am fascinated with the idea of the Gates Foundation donating to the
London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine to carry out a program
of malaria research and training in Africa. Why not donate to an or-
ganization in Africa with a solid history of malaria research and
training? There are a number of them! Are there any cases of malaria
in London or UK? Knowledge is a commodity that is controlled by both
politics and economics.
Thanks Dieter for your response of "There is no 'pure science' with-
out political consequences as we have seen in the past (nuclear
power, medical research in Nazi Germany etc.)" This is very true and
there are plenty of heinous examples in Africa to carry this out. As
I mentioned in a previous post the apartheid deaths labs as just one
example.
I question how humble and quiet is a question that says "Why should
we read in this basically SCIENTIFIC net such nonsense and political
issues as "Sanyakhu-Sheps Amare's" posting"?
