Basic Public Health Library (2)
-------------------------------
Have you come across the TALC (Teaching Aids at Low Cost) organisation?
It developed from the Institute of Child Health at London University
but is now independent, and it provides a range of books, slides and
teaching aids for health workers in developing countries. It also does
special library packs - 17 books for District Hospitals, or 14 books
for clinics/health centres, covering common medical and surgical and
MCH problems but also care of equipment, nutrition, teaching health
workers, health promotion, and related subjects. Very strongly recom-
mended. E-mail address (sorry no hyperlink!) is:
<talcuk@btinternet.com>
I hope this will be helpful.
