The Creative and Novel Ideas in HIV Research (CNIHR) grant programme is currently accepting applications for the 2013 Special Round Toward an HIV Cure. This round welcomes innovative proposals to accelerate the search toward an HIV cure. Ten to twelve research grants worth up to US$ 150, 000 per year for one to two years are available. These research grants are open to early-stage scientists who have completed their doctoral degrees (e.g. MD, PhD) or medical residencies within the past 10 years and who have a faculty position at an academic institution or a comparable position at a research institution.
