Newsletters on AFRO-NETS (2)
----------------------------
This is a good start. People should subscribe to such newsletters if
they want it. Again in order to limit mail coming to all of us on
AFRO-NETS, may I suggest that when replies are being given to per-
sonal requests that are made, these are directed to the e-mail ad-
dresses of the one requesting such info and not to AFRO-NETS in gen-
eral? Please let us stop hitting automatically on the "reply" key
(this sends the reply to AFRO-NETS) and instead use the addresses of
senders, which are always provided!!

[From the Moderator:
Each day between 3 and 5 messages sent to AFRO-NETS are being for-
warded to individuals because they are meant for them personally. I
should appreciate if subscribers could consider the above caution
when hitting the reply button.
Another issue is sending automatic mail responses to the list inform-
ing us that the subscriber is out of office (on leave or for other
reasons). We have decided to unsubscribe these colleagues since it
occurred once that we had 5 of these automated messages incoming for
each message sent out via AFRO-NETS (with 15 messages that day we had
to sort out 75 automatic responses).
Thanks, DN Mod.]
