[afro-nets] UPDATED Healthy Timing and Spacing of Pregnancy Trainer's Reference Guide

The Extending Service Delivery (ESD) Project is pleased to announce that the updated version of the Healthy Timing and Spacing of Pregnancy Trainer's Reference Guide is now available. Healthy Timing and Spacing of Pregnancy (HTSP) is an intervention to help women and families delay or space their pregnancies to achieve the healthiest outcomes for women, newborns, infants, and children, within the context of free and informed choice.

This guide serves as a resource for trainers in developing in-service training for facility-based healthcare providers and community health workers (CHWs) who already have some basic experience with and an understanding of reproductive health and family planning. This is not a training manual, but a reference guide for trainers which can be adapted for use with facility- or community-based trainees.

The HTSP Trainer's Reference Guide is available on the ESD website. Limited hard copies are also available. Please contact Kristen Stolka at kstolka@esdproj.org for additional information.
