E-drug: Science vs Shareholders (cont)

Alan,
Regarding the Pharmas concealing potentially useful drugs that are not
commercially viable. It would be good to hear what e-druggers think
about this: Is it possible that the intellectual property rights
involved could be transferred to an organization established to
develop them and produce the drugs. Big Pharmas have big costs. But
little ones in the developing world have lower costs that might make
such drugs viable when they would not be viable in the developed
countries. Ideas anyone?
