Dear colleagues:
International Journal of Medical Sciences (ISSN 1449-1907) is a
peer-reviewed scientific journal publishing papers of signifi-
cance in all areas of medical sciences from basic research to
clinical and experimental work. Papers in pathology, pharmacol-
ogy, physiology, immunology, virology, clinical biochemistry,
medical genetics, medical microbiology, biophysics, and medical
informatics are welcomed as well as papers in all areas of in-
ternal medicine, clinical medicine, emergency medicine, epidemi-
ology, neurology, radiology, gerontology, and healthcare re-
search.
The Journal serves wide ranges of international audiences of
medical researchers, pharmaceutical employees, specialized and
general clinicians. It aims at establishing itself as a leading
international journal. The Journal is available in both online
version and print version. The online version is published bi-
monthly open access to the public to maximize the distribution
of information. The print version is currently published in vol-
ume and is by subscription only.
The Journal invites high quality submissions of original re-
search and review articles, important case reports and analysis,
short research communications presenting novel ideas and timely
research finding, and reports of new drug development and clini-
cal trials. Authors should submit PDF, Word, or HTML version of
their papers formatted in a convenient style for review process.
Manuscripts should be formatted in font 11 points to 12 points,
letter or A4 size. Efforts should be made to minimize the file
size of transfer (especially images), as review is also done
electronically. Authors should submit manuscripts that have been
carefully proofread and polished. Detailed submission instruc-
