Course on Population, Reproductive Health and Health Sector Reform

The Adapting to Change Program on Population, Reproductive Health and
Health Sector Reform calls for nominations for the Fourth Adapting to
Change Global Core Course on Population, Reproductive Health and
Health Sector Reform.

Venue: ILO Training Center, Turin, Italy

Participants:
Senior government officials, as well as representatives of NGOs, pri-
vate sector organizations, the donor community, and others working in
the field of population, reproductive health and health sector re-
form, including World Bank staff from both country offices and head-
quarters.

Worldwide Course Fee: US$ 1,500

The overall goal of this two-week course is to improve population and
reproductive health outcomes in client countries by strengthening the
skills and capacity of key actors to make their population and repro-
ductive health programs more efficient, equitable and financially
sustainable. Please feel free to forward this announcement to those
who might be interested in participating or nominating a participant.

We invite you to nominate participants from our client countries with
whom you work: senior government officials, particularly from the
Ministries of Health, Education, Women's Affairs, Labor, Population
and Welfare and Finance and/or Planning, representatives of NGOs,
private sector organizations, the donor community and others working
in this field. Priority will be given to countries that have been
successful in assembling country teams of approximately three to five
participants. Please bear in mind that client country participants
are expected to cover the subsidized course fee of US$ 1,500, the
full costs of their round-trip ticket to Turin, Italy, and subsis-
tence and hotel expenses at the ILO Center, estimated to be around
US$ 1,200.
