[afro-nets] Invitation to the 2nd International Congress of Central Asia Infectious Diseases (2nd ICCAID)

Dear Colleagues,

The organizing committee is delighted to invite you to participate to “2nd International Congress of Central Asia Infectious Diseases (ICCAID)” organized by the Black Sea Society of Clinic Microbiology and Infectious Diseases (BSCMID) and The Kazakh National Medical University (KNMU).

The congress has been scheduled between 26 and 30 March 2008 in the beautiful city of Almaty-Kazakhstan under the auspices of the Kazakh Ministry of Health.

Even though we are still in the planning process, the program of the congress will focus on important aspects of current infectious diseases, including developments in food-borne infections, antimicrobial resistance, tuberculosis, vaccines, epidemiology of endemic diseases and public health issues in developing countries and especially in Central Asia and other developing countries. All these and related issues will be complemented by meet-the-expert and poster sessions.

Since we have limited funds, we advise all participants to apply their institutions or sponsors for travel expenses and conference registration fee. Conference registration fee is 250 US dollars for those who apply before February 08, 2008, and 300 US Dollars for those who apply after this date. The papers/posters will be presented as a congress book during the congress.
