Long postings on AFRO-NETS (4)

[More comments - D.N. Mod.]:
I strongly support Claudio's first amendment rights to say what he
want to say, how he wants to say it. If anyone finds his postings of-
fensive, or if they are too long, then they should not read them. And
if they are really desperate to save that finger click on the delete
button, then they can set up their email package to delete anything
posted by a particular person - or so I believe.
Can I also take this opportunity to thank you for your work as mod-
erator, and the excellent list which you run.
Best wishes,
Merrick Zwarenstein

Hey Moderator:
I fail to understand why a few subscribers are up in arms against
Claudio. I read Claudio as I believe many of your more than 1000 sub-
scribers do. Claudio ADDS VALUE to this list. His contributions
should not be censored, controlled, or banished from our midst. This
list will be poorer should you accept the views of the few (who have
complained) to be representative of the views of your many silent
subscribers.
Those who find "long" essays tedious and an inconvenience know what
to do. This is a democracy, isn't it?
Please let Claudio be.
Thank you,
O. Kashirim Nwuke

I find Claudio's stuff to be good fun -- all the more so when he's on
the other side of the fence from me, as is often the case. Important
to have somebody to keep me honest.
