Malaria in Pregnancy Advocacy Brochure
--------------------------------------
A six page Malaria in Pregnancy Advocacy Brochure recently finalized by
the Malaria in Pregnancy Working Group is available now. The Malaria in
Pregnancy working group is grateful in particular to Renuka Berry of
the Support for Analysis and Research in Africa (SARA) Project at the
Academy for Educational Development (AED) and Mary Ettling of the US
Agency for International Development (USAID) Africa Bureau for the de-
sign and production of the brochure and for "making it happen."
The brochure was developed to promote awareness of the impact of ma-
laria on pregnant women and its potential impact on their newborns, and
to influence reproductive health professionals, program managers and
policy makers to consider the implementation of interventions to reduce
malaria impact. The brochure is currently available in English, and we
expect to make it available in French and Portuguese shortly.
We would be happy to send you hard copies of the brochure for your own
use or to distribute where they would be effective. The brochures are
free of charge.
Please address requests for copies:
mailto:paltman@jhsph.edu
or
mailto:awolff@smtp.aed.org
Include # of copies desired and your name and postal address.
And, if ordering multiple copies, please describe how you intend to use
the copies.
