Moses, I suppose you could start with UNICEF or WHO websites, especially the Child Health Division of WHO. There are other Institutes of Child Health or Departments like in London or University of Cape Town, or hordes of Journals that you can search for specific research done, in aspects of what you call "quality improvement of under-5", in African context.

Let me hope that, vague as I may be, this will stimulate other individuals/institutions to assist you even better.
