tiative: its origins, aims, co-ordination organisations, as well
as an outline of the structure of the 2005 GHW Report and the

GET INVOLVED! Time to submit Case Studies
The GHW is putting out a call for the submission of country or
region-specific case studies. These case studies will form part
of the electronic accompaniment to the alternative World Health
Report to be launched in July 2005 at the Peoples health Assem-
bly in Ecuador. Some examples of case studies are:
- Positive and negative examples of policies and actions to se-
cure improved and equitable access to health care.
- Examples of effective, efficient and inclusive public health
care systems.
- Evidence showing the negative effects of commercialised health
care on professional ethics.
- The good and bad practices bilateral and multilateral donors
on public health stewardship and on the performance of health
care systems.
- Case studies of the positive and negative impact of multina-
tional corporations on health policy.
