The HIV Medicine textbook has now grown to its full size. As in
previous years, all chapters have been thoroughly revised, and
most parts of the book were available on the Internet months be-
fore they were printed. That is the way, we firmly believe, that
medical textbooks should be handled in the 21st century. Two
years ago, we removed the copyright on HIV Medicine. As a re-
sult, our textbook is now available in Spanish, Russian, Portu-
guese, German, and Romanian at:

making this wonderful resource FREE online and in print!

With so many commercial interests around, this is uncommon, com-
