Dear all,
I am happy to share a new training resource from Pathfinder International: Contraceptive Implants Clinical Training - www.pathfinder.org/publications/implants-training/<http://www.pathfinder.org/publications/implants-training/>\. After participating in this training, participants will be able to describe contraceptive implants as an effective contraceptive method, counsel and screen clients, respond to rumors and misconceptions about implants, provide insertion and removal services, recognize common side effects and complications of contraceptive implants, and provide follow-up care for implant users. The curriculum is designed to be used to train physicians, midwives, nurses, obstetric and physician assistants, other health care providers, and others, such as community health workers. The training package consists of a trainer's guide, participant handouts, and a trainer PowerPoint presentation. The materials can be adapted to suit various contexts and audiences.
Please feel free to share widely. Apologies for cross-posting!
Best,
Olivia
