A Case Study of the Integrated Patient Monitoring System in Cote d'Ivoire (http://e2.ma/click/ou63m/kfcngl/0nxpgd)
In 2008 the Cote d'Ivoire Ministry of Health adapted and implemented the WHO’s system of standardized patient monitoring tools, known as the Patient Monitoring System (PMS), for the country’s national HIV care and treatment program. Beginning in 2010, to support and strengthen the integration of HIV services, the MoH worked with MEASURE Evaluation to revise the PMS, producing the Interlinked Patient Monitoring System (IPMS). This case study was conducted immediately following the field test of the tools in order to gather information that would be informative for the national scale-up of the tools.

Supportive Supervision in Monitoring and Evaluation with Community-based Health Staff in HIV Programs: A Case Study from Haiti (http://e2.ma/click/ou63m/kfcngl/s5lqgd) Supportive supervision is a facilitative approach to supervision that promotes mentorship, joint problem-solving and communication between supervisors and supervisees. In recent years, supportive supervision has been implemented to improve routine program monitoring and evaluation (M&E). However, there is a lack of documentation on how supportive supervision has been applied to M&E at the community-level. The purpose of this research was to develop a case study that could be used as an example for other community-based programs wishing to use supportive supervision in M&E.
