[afro-nets] Official delegation going to Abuja+5 or UNGASS?

Advocacy Action: Are you on an official delegation going to
Abuja+5 or UNGASS?
-----------------------------------------------------------

Dear Civil Society Partners:

From May 2 - 4, Heads of States are meeting in Abuja to review
progress towards the Abuja Declaration and Plan of Action on
HIV/AIDS, Tuberculosis and Other Related Infectious Diseases
(ORID).

The African Civil Society Coalition on HIV and AIDS would like
to find out if there are any civil society organisations that
are part of official country delegations going to the Abuja Sum-
mit. If you are scheduled to travel to Abuja or to New York for
the UNGASS as part of an official delegation please let us know.
We are working on briefing and preparing Civil Society groups to
participate in the Summit. We want to ensure that CSOs speak
with one voice and are coordinated in their efforts.

If you are African going to either of these meetings in an offi-
cial capacity representing civil society, please send an email
to Omololu Falobi (mailto:omololu@nigeria-aids.org) or Sisonke
Msimang (mailto:sisonkem@osisa.org. We would like to contact you
to discuss the key issues and demands that civil society has re-
garding Abuja and UNGASS.
