The Geneva Foundation for Medical Education and Research (GFMER) is launching an online research forum focused on sexual health and sexuality research. The online forum will be closely tied to the design and development of the sexual health research track of the 2008 training course on sexual and reproductive health research:

AFRO-NETS readers are invited to visit and consider joining the forum at:
http://www.gfmer.ch/Forums/sexualhealthresearch/
We want the forum to be a rich source of up-to-date research material. For this reason, all those joining the forum have to upload a research article in which they are cited, which we will make accessible on the GFMER website.
The scope and purpose of the sexual health research forum is to facilitate discussion including of definitions and their sources. The first topic is Sexual and erotic maturity which asks what are the biomedical and psychological developmental tasks to be achieved in childhood, adolescence and adulthood on the way to human sexual and erotic maturity. Eight further topics are planned on a roughly monthly basis.
Announcements for upcoming events, seminars, conferences and online gatherings may be made in the forum and participants may launch calls for papers or suggest interesting sites and online resources.
On behalf of GFMER, I again invite readers to join, contribute and benefit from the sexual health research forum.
Yours sincerely,
Prof. Aldo Campana
President of the Geneva Foundation for Medical Education and Research
