[afro-nets] Pathfinder resource submission - Introduction of the Loop Electrosurgical Excision Procedure to Combat Cervical Cancer in Ethiopia

Dear Afro-Nets,

Cervical cancer is one of the most frequent and leading causes of cancer mortality among Ethiopian women. For women living with HIV and AIDS, cervical cancer poses an even greater health risk as they are more likely to develop precancerous lesions and are more vulnerable to rapid development of these lesions than HIV-negative women. This update discusses the Addis Tesfa project's experience implementing the Loop Electrosurgical Excision procedure to address cervical cancer in Ethiopia.
