RFI: Community Based Health Care Review
---------------------------------------
The Ministry of Health and Social Services in Namibia is planning to
carry out a review of the Community Based Health Care Services that
are currently taking place in the country, implemented by the
Ministry of Health and Social Services and other sectors. During the
review we will be aiming to:
- Collect information on the progress that has been achieved since
starting to implement the Primary Health Care /Community Based
Health Care approach;
- Identify any barriers/constraints to the implementation of
Community Based Health Care initiatives;
- Explore opportunities for better collaboration between all
stakeholders.
We are seeking information from other African Countries who have
already carried out a similar review of their Primary Health Care /
Community Based Health Care Services. If you could share information
on any of the following questions we would be grateful.
We would like to know:
* How the review was carried out?
* What research and evaluation methods were used?
* Where did the review take place?
* What were the key findings?
* What recommendations were made?
* Who carried out the review?
* How long did it take?
Thank you for any assistance or information you can offer.
