Hajj,
I think the right course for you is the certificate in Public
Health Informatics offered online by the School of Public
Health, University of Illinois at Chicago. It is in its 4th year
and the only completely online public health informatics degree
and certificate programs in the USA. We have graduated 13 Ma-
ter's and 8 certificate students. It currently has a total of
102 students distributed in 18 states within USA and 7 foreign
countries (Ghana, Mali, Botswana, India, Canada, England and
Mexico). The students are made up of medical doctors, nurses,
pharmacists, dentists, non-physician public health practitio-
ners, computer programmers, military officers interested in pub-
lic health surveillance, and hospital administrators.
