RFI: Female Genital Mutilation

To whom it may concern:
I'm a student at the University of California, Irvine and I am doing
a research paper on the issue of FGM in Africa (Somalia). I was won-
dering if you could help me anyway you can or direct me to specific
resources (i.e. web pages, books, articles, etc.)?
Another thing is that the reforms of this issue must be from what the
United Nations are doing for it. This research paper is for my United
Nations class of which I find a great interest in. I must make an
oral presentation along with it so whatever you can inform me of I
would be greatly thankful.
