Dear Colleagues

I have just had a look at the pdf file prepared by WHO and rec-
ommended by Christa Cepuch...

I am sure it has a lot of useful information... but it is a 266
page document, and unless my friends around the world have a lot
more computer power and print money than I have... it is pretty
clumsy to use.

And like so much of the information that is circulating there is
a total disconnect between medical science... practical treat-
ment... and costs. I am very impressed by what is possible at
the level of medical science... and totally depressed by the
money dimension of the current health sector.

And I am ever further upset by the failure to address the issue
of prevention... because prevention is so much less expensive
than cure in so many situations... what is the equivalent WHO
document about preventing malaria?

I am very interested in hearing what others think about this
work.

Sincerely,

Peter Burgess

Hi Peter,

can you please clarify your position on "cost" for malaria
