This report documents outcomes of a qualitative study conducted in 2012 of the SPRING/Digital Green collaboration, which is adapting Digital Green’s community media model to address nutrition in the first 1,000 days to reach audiences through mobile video screenings and facilitated discussions, followed by home visits to verify adoption of key behaviors. This report is comprised of five distinct parts: Part 1 presents the current nutrition situation in India; part 2 reviews the formative research methodology; part 3 shares the key findings of this qualitative study; part 4 is a discussion of those findings; and part 5 summarizes the conclusions and recommendations.
