Dear Friends,
JIT for Mad Cow Disease and Iranian Earthquake
Denish Moorthy from India and Eugene Shubnikov from Russia have
done a masterful job in creating a Mad Cow Disease 'Just in time
lecture' (JIT). You can find this at the address below. They did
a great job in summarizing the literature, and making it avail-
able to educators around the world. There are in fact 2 lec-
tures, the second one being a lecture derived from the newspaper
USA today, which is being updated every few days with the latest
information. USA today was specifically selected as it is the
newspaper that many teachers read to give them background infor-
mation for their teaching. Here we take it one step further by
providing lectures:

Please distribute this to as many people you know who might be
teaching about Mad Cow disease.
We are in the process of completing a second lecture by Eric
Noji on the Iranian Earthquake, and Earthquake epidemiology. It
too is outstanding. We will have this available in just a few
days.
As is said in the IBM commercials... It is an "on demand
world"... (we add to this... "it is a Supercourse on demand
world!!")
Best regards,
Ron, Eugene, Denish, Mita, Soni, Faina, Wendy, Akira, Tomoko,
