Bill Kinsey was sharing with us his (he thought paradoxical) findings
on malnutrition and land reform. He is not alone. Several authors
have found that cash cropping with higher income is associated with
no nutritional improvements. See for instance work by Eileen Kennedy
and others from IFPRI in Kenya.

As you point out, the key is in proper child CARE. UNICEF has devel-
oped this idea in depth. You do not need to re-invent the wheel. I
suggest, Bill, you go to a nearby UNICEF office and pick up copies of
what they have been publishing about this.
