Treatment of Leishmaniasis (3)

Dear Colleagues,

This is in response to Dr. Mbeseni's inquiry about the treatment of
Leishmaniasis. You may be interested to know that the Wellcome Trust
(UK) has produced an Interactive CD-ROM on Leishmaniasis with infor-
mation on treatment of this disease. This CD-ROM belongs to a series
known as Topics in International Health (TIH). These are interactive
educational resources, very useful for medical and life science stu-
dents, lecturers and health care professionals (clinicians and commu-
nity health workers, etc). CAB International is marketing these prod-
ucts. You may contact us at the CAB International, Africa Regional
Centre or our office in UK (contacts and the addresses below). Other
CD-ROMs in the TIH Series include:

* Diarrhoeal diseases
* Malaria
* Sickle Cell disease

* Sexually Transmitted Diseases
* Schistosomiasis

* HIV/AIDS

Each of these CDs has three complementary resources
* a selection of interactive tutorials
* an image collection and
* a glossary of scientific terms.

The pricing structure allows organisations in developing countries to
buy each CD-ROM at 20 Pounds Sterling. If you order for 4 or more
CDs, you get a 20% discount! Discounts can also be negotiated for
multiple copies.
