1. Programme Manager - HIV/AIDS - Community based care for Or-
phans and Vulnerable Children
Based in Nairobi
Salary �20,720 - �23,493 (tax free) + extensive benefits package
We have been awarded the management of a 5 year multi-million
dollar HIV/AIDS programme spanning 4 countries across Africa fo-
cused on community based care for orphans and vulnerable chil-
dren, and we are looking for an experienced person to manage the
programme, including the detailed work plan, budgets and activi-
ties and provide strategic and operational leadership.
A graduate, with a post-graduate qualification in public health,
international development or related field, you will have a
minimum of 8 years experience of managing network and multi-
partner development programmes. You must have strong finance
skills, and extensive experience of managing International NGO
programmes in Africa, preferably working in partnership with Af-
rica NGOs. In addition, you should be experienced in managing
HIV/AIDS programmes, and reporting to institutional donors. Ex-
perience of USAID reporting requirements is highly desirable
This is an opportunity for an experienced and dynamic manager to
lead support and develop programmes which meet one of the big-
gest challenges the AIDS pandemic poses in Africa - on orphans
and vulnerable children.

2. Monitoring and Evaluation Officer - HIV/AIDS - Community
based care for Orphans and Vulnerable Children
Based in Nairobi (with extensive travel throughout Africa)
Salary �17,177 - �19,565 (tax free) + extensive benefits package
We have been awarded the management of a 5 year multi-million
dollar HIV/AIDS programme spanning 4 countries across Africa fo-
cused on community based care for orphans and vulnerable chil-
dren.
Candidates must have a postgraduate or recognised qualification
in research methodology and/or monitoring and evaluation, and at
least 5 years experience working in monitoring and evaluation of
large donor funded programmes preferably in areas of HIV/AIDS or
public health.
In addition you must have demonstrable skills in strategic moni-
toring and evaluation, NGO capacity building and the delivery of
community based care/support services for children, youth and
families affected by HIV/AIDS. You will also deputise for the
Programme Manager and so experience of managing people, leading
and motivating others would be desirable.
You will be required to have an enhanced disclosure check from

dren and young people.
