E-DRUG: Application period open for WHO Essential Medicines List 2021 update

Application period now open for the WHO Essential Medicines List 2021 update
The meeting of the 23rd WHO Expert Committee on Selection and Use of Essential Medicines is scheduled to take place in Geneva, Switzerland on 19 to 23 April 2021 to consider applications seeking inclusion, changes or removal of medicines on the WHO Model Lists of Essential Medicines (EML) and Essential Medicines for Children (EMLc).
The WHO EML Secretariat has now opened the application period for the 2021 update of the EML and EMLc. The application period will remain open until 30 November 2020. During this time, applicants are invited to engage with the Secretariat to ensure applications meet the requirements for content and quality and adequately address the critical elements for medicines selection.
