E-DRUG: Call for Nominations: People that Deliver Board

The People that Deliver Initiative envisions a world where national supply chain workforces are planned, financed, developed and supported in a way that ensures equitable and sustainable access to the medicines and other commodities needed for optimal health outcomes. To reach this vision PtD has a Board that directs the focus and activity of the Initiative, with nominations now open for the following seats:
- Governments or other representatives of low and middle income countries (3 seats)
- Donor governments/agencies and foundations (2 seats)
- Multilateral organizations, including regional organizations, with a health mandate (2 seats)
- Non-governmental and technical organizations, including at least one focused on human resources for health and one focused on supply chain management (3 seats)
- Academic/research/training institutions (1 seat)
- Private sector organizations (1 seat)
Before deciding to seek Board membership, please review the information on the nomination form (available from www.peoplethatdeliver.org/node/26625) with particular attention to the section on the Initiative Board Terms of reference, to ensure that your organization and its representatives are willing and able to carry out all duties associated with Board membership
After confirming your institutions willingness to be nominated please fill in the nomination form and send to the Initiative Chair at info@peoplethatdeliver.org by September 30th 2015.
